Client Guide

Here you'll find additional information about what to expect from me and your session. Take a look around and let me know how I can help.

What kind of  photographer are you and what will my session be like?

I want you to know that my sessions are relaxed, fun, and meaningful. I enjoy capturing everyone smiling and looking at the camera, but really love capturing the love, joy, happiness, and connection of a family that happen before and after the posed pictures. I may bring props such as stools or chairs to a session depending on location. I do take most of my photos in natural light settings and prefer to wait later in the afternoon to begin so we are able to catch the softest, even light for beautiful photos.

Where will my session be held and how long will my session be?

Most sessions do take place 2 hours before sunset. It is best to arrive on time so we can make the most of the light we have. I want to give you the best experience and make the most of our time together. You may choose a location, or I can suggest one. My family sessions usually last over an hour. I like to take my time and give breaks if little ones need a snack or drink. I want everyone to be happy and comfortable.

Where will my newborn session be held?

Most newborn sessions are held at home in the nursery, but I do have a studio available to use depending on your preference.

How far are you booked?

If you are thinking about booking a session, let me know your timeframe or a couple of dates that work for you and we can discuss availability. I try to be as accommodating as I can be with schedules.

How will I get the digital photos from my session?

Following your session, you will be emailed a link and password to your photo gallery. You will log into the site using the password and will be able to view and download your images. If you are interested in ordering quality professional prints, please let me know and we can discuss the details before or after your session.
